Drawings

I draw to think through questions, to remember a moment, to return to a time and space, to be angry, to feel joy, to calm down, to imagine, to obsess over, to share, to joke around, or to pass time.

How might we visually attend to that which matters most deeply to us? How might drawing allow us to express our (pedagogical) intentions: what we care for, what we center, that which draws us in, that which makes our matters of concern?

There was a Young Lady whose bonnet,
Came untied when the birds sate upon it;
But she said: ‘I don’t care!
All the birds in the air
Are welcome to sit on my bonnet!’
